I became part of this world in 1985, in a small and surrealistic country, called Belgium. Growing up bilingually made it all a bit easier to understand the different cultures in the french and dutch talking parts. English came very quick as well and opened the world for me. Living several years on the Canary Islands also learned me to appreciate the Spanish, and more generally the Latin, way of life. Back then I would never expect to be living now in Hamburg, Germany!  And voila; that's how I speak 5 languages in which I'd be happy to serve you as a photographer, making communication easier and describe the emotions you'd want to get framed.

I'm a very active person and spend enough time to achieve a healthy fitness and also take care of mental balance in life. Most of all, I enjoy to be with people sharing a joy of life and putting a smile on their face.

 

My professional career has been all but boring. I worked several years as a sales representative in footwear and apparel, 4 years in a bike store in Tenerife, as a tour-guide for groups of kids and adults in various activities and now as a travel consultant helping people to find and realize their perfect holiday. All those jobs had two items in common; I was always in contact with very different type of personalities and speaking different languages every day. All those situations gave me a lot of understanding for every single individual person and his or her culture and values. Being able to speak the language of my client have helped me to understand them better and as such to work much better with them. This is not only important to know what the other person tells you, but also to feel more comfortable and to create the occasion to express yourself at your best.

 

I realized quickly that photography is not only about skills taking the image. It's very often ignored how important it is to connect with your clients.

I'd be happy to take all the time and discuss everything and to understand each other when it comes to the emotions you want to me to create. There's nothing better than to express yourself in your own language. You'll be able to express what you really wish in french, spanish, english, dutch and german.
